Juta is a listener worth her weight in gold—she doesn’t talk much, but rather nods along with a smile. Although she modestly considers herself a homebody, behind her nimble fingers lies a huge fan of dancing, singing, and homemade meat delicacies!

Aare is a master at solving problems that no one else wants to tackle, and at getting things to work so thoroughly that they don’t need to be fixed for hours afterward. In his free time, however, he pursues hobbies so secret that he probably doesn’t even know about them himself—as long as no one at work has to ask why something isn’t working again!

Triin brings just as much spark and warmth to EWERS as a traditional Old Võru County smoke sauna, approaching new professional challenges with the same enthusiasm as she does a winter night in the bog. If you’re looking for a vibrant colleague or valuable insider information about Estonia’s best saunas and the bees of Mehkamaa, you’ll never be bored with Triin around!

Valju, the maintenance supervisor at EWERS, modestly describes himself as a “boring guy,” but in reality, he’s a passionate collector of antiques and a true jack-of-all-trades who knows a little about everything. Thanks to his golden hands and versatile skills, the school’s facilities are always in safe and capable hands!

Kaiu has also given a lot of thought to becoming a history teacher—what better way to broaden young people’s horizons! In addition to reading voluminous history books, you’re likely to run into Kaiu on some beautiful nature trail, listening to history or politics podcasts. She is EWERS’s brilliant explorer, who knows full well that the best ideas are born in the fresh air and between the pages of thick books!

Merle solves IT puzzles just as quickly as her favorite detective, Poirot, and in the process, she takes a 6-kilometer walk without stopping. In addition to expert advice, you’ll always find the best BBC series recommendations from her—and, just like Hyacinth Bucket, she’s brimming with good cheer!

Sigrid, a designer and spatial magician, brings architecture and interior design into harmony at EWERS with the same grace with which she observes the flight paths of birds during her free time while birdwatching. When she’s not breathing new life into spaces, this gardening enthusiast can surely be found with her hands in the soil, shaping her own green oasis.

Kersti is a teacher with a golden touch and a future mentor to master builders, who possesses a lively Seto spirit and always has a paintbrush and camera at the ready. In her free time, she bustles about her home in Setomaa, and she could talk to you for hours about the rich Seto culture with infectious enthusiasm!

When Terje—a teacher at heart and a “Lion” in the Lions Club—isn’t busy making the world a better place, you’ll surely find her walking along a nature trail and capturing beautiful moments with her camera. She enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, experiencing culture, and all the experiences that bring joy to life.

When Ülle, a furniture restorer, isn’t recharging his energy on a hiking trail or at the pool, he’s most likely lost in the spell of a captivating book. In the company of a truly good book, he forgets all his other responsibilities with playful ease—at least until the last page of the book snaps shut!

If Kaire didn’t work at EWERS, she would likely be pursuing a career in the medical field. For now, however, she reminds everyone that exercise should lift your spirits, not wear you out. In her free time, her hobby is interior design—she simply loves playing with colors and redesigning spaces.

When Ülle isn’t reading a book or doing some needlework, her hands are guaranteed to be in the soil —after all, the last name “Muru” (meaning “grass” in Estonian) practically obliges her to love gardening, and she not only tends to her flower beds but also brightens the mood of everyone around her with her cheerful, green-fingered touch.

Siim is the kind of guy who, while listening to others talk, is always coming up with new and exciting alternative ideas on the spot. But if you really want to make his eyes light up, bring up motorcycles—Siim, who rides and competes in his free time, could go on and on about his extensive motorcycle collection, so be sure to set aside plenty of time!

When Elis isn’t out on her bike, in the water, or on the running track, she creates true art by arranging pixels and colors as part of her other creative profession. She’s EWERS’s radiant bundle of energy, turning both sports and design into one big, exhilarating adventure!

Merje is a true lover of travel and art, who brings to life everything from canvases and masterful handicrafts to exciting new travel destinations. When she’s not off exploring some far-flung corner of the world or immersed in her creative pursuits, Merje brings all that inspiring sparkle and energy to the EWERS house!

Anu is EWERS’s very own food-saving superhero and a permaculture enthusiast who takes joy in pumpkins grown in straw bales or the bounty of cover crops. Anu treats every bite with the utmost respect. When she’s not busy saving edible food from being wasted, this energetic swim instructor jumps into the pool and has everyone—from babies to seniors—gliding through the water like fish!

With the precision of a financial analyst and the heart of a special education teacher, Kairi is a master at cracking all kinds of nuts—whether it’s conjuring art from plain paper, discussing world affairs, or hitting the road on a motorcycle. Her true superpower, however, is her ability to stretch a 24-hour day into at least three days, so she can always be truly present for her family, friends, and the people at EWERS.

Ene is our intrepid traveler and a “furniture doctor” with golden hands, who breathes new life into worn-out armchairs. Since nurturing comes naturally to her, all the houseplants thrive with the same carefree ease as the children playing under her watchful eye!

Elin is one of our employees who secretly dreams of becoming an interior designer. Until the beautiful spaces in her mind take shape, she’s busy creating stylish clothes and mouthwatering cakes. But as a true jack-of-all-trades, she swaps her sewing machine and rolling pin for an adrenaline rush in her free time and gets totally caught up in the excitement of drifting on the track!

When Viibeke isn’t busy greeting guests with a warm smile as the hotel receptionist, she plays the karmoška and accordion so joyfully—accompanied by song—that it makes your feet itch to dance. She’s a true master of creating a lively atmosphere, effortlessly combining impeccable customer service with fiery musical performances!

Indrek is EWERS’s very own digital and mental wellness guru! He combines his knowledge of psychology and the digital world with the same playful ease with which he passes the ball on the court. When he’s not honing the school community’s digital skills and helping them find inner peace, you’ll most likely find him on the basketball or volleyball court—always playing with gusto and spreading good vibes!

Ülle is the warm and worldly-wise soul of EWERS, who moves with the same playful ease through the depths of the human soul as she does between the garden beds in a greenhouse. This “amateur psychologist” with a green thumb recharges her batteries in the horse paddock or the smoke sauna and is always ready to discuss with you what really matters in life.

When Kaja isn’t leading lively tours as a guide, she’s most likely lost in an exciting book, in a theater, or in front of the movie screen. Kaja is a master storyteller who always knows how to turn everyday life into an inspiring cultural journey!

Anu is a true woman of action, whose diverse range of experiences spans from gardening to medicine, and who loves to see quick and tangible results from her work. Whether she’s tending to her garden, exploring new places, or spending time with her beloved family—Anu tackles everything with great enthusiasm and knows how to simply enjoy life to the fullest!

This is a man who lives in the real world and avoids frivolous activities. In his daily life, he finds satisfaction in cooking at home and listens to heavy rock music or podcasts that broaden his worldview while putting together puzzles.

When Reet, a consultant at the gardening center, isn’t creating masterpieces of landscape architecture, she’s probably out there with her pruning shears, giving the trees stylish “haircuts” at the top of the apple trees. At EWERS, we know full well that under Reet Lohuväli’s guidance, every garden shines, and even the most unruly apple tree begins to bear fruit with joy!

When Vally isn’t marveling at Norway’s enchanting nature and culture, she finds her greatest joy in the garden, with her fingers in the soil as she plants new seedlings. Since she has an abundance of warmth and compassion, in an alternate universe she would likely be working in the social sector, but fortunately, she shares her positive energy right here, with the EWERS family!

Pille is an integration specialist with 25 years of experience who has brought young people from all over Estonia together through various projects and family education programs. In her free time, however, you’re sure to find this radiant woman—who loves painting and history—spending the night at one of Estonia’s beautiful manor houses—and don’t be surprised if one day she ends up running a historic guesthouse herself!

Instead of long phone calls, Külli, who loves numbers, prefers to keep her nimble fingers busy. She certainly wouldn’t talk for hours on end, but doing various crafts always brings the happiest smile to Külli’s face!

Merike is EWERS’s tireless chatterbox, who can talk for hours about absolutely anything while effortlessly keeping her home and garden sparkling clean. Her second dream job, however, would be to be a full-time super-grandma, because spending time with her adorable grandchildren is simply the best thing in the world for her!

When Aivar isn’t busy making a splash in the tech world, you’ll most likely find him wandering leisurely through the woods, enjoying the beauty of nature. He’s EWERS’ very own tech wizard, who knows full well that the best solutions are always born in the fresh air among the pine trees!

Roland is a man with golden hands who breathes new life into old wooden furniture, concocts exciting drinks in his home distillery, and rides his motorcycle into the wind in his free time. You should definitely strike up a conversation with him, because he could talk about his adventures from his time in the Soviet Army until morning!

Irina is EWERS’s true healthy-food wizard, who combines delicious recipes with such precision that she could easily become a top-notch detective or accountant overnight. But when she’s not in the kitchen, you’ll find this tireless bundle of energy on her bike, in the mushroom forest, out on the fishing waters, or working on some nifty craft project!

Marge is EWERS’ tireless fitness enthusiast and green thumb, who proves every day that being in top shape and radiating youthful vitality is purely a matter of taking the initiative. She’s a wonderful companion who has plenty of fond memories of “the good old days” up her sleeve—and enough energy to organize a round-the-world trip for the entire team!

Raul Auksmann, an old rocker at heart and a zookeeper, knows that life is one great adventure to be lived to the fullest. When he’s not strumming his guitar or belting into the mic, he enthusiastically compiles his list of 1,000 places around the world that he absolutely must visit in his lifetime.

When Kaili isn’t busy at EWERS, she’s moving with wonderful grace and rhythm on the competitive dance floor. With her obvious flair for acting, she brings just the right dose of sparkle, theatricality, and infectious good cheer to every workday!

Kai is such a passionate teacher that there simply hasn’t been room in her life for any other career! Once her work in front of the class is done, she picks up a craft project with her nimble fingers and dives into the world of exciting books.

Ülle is EWERS’s own cultural gem and a passionate wordsmith who can talk for hours on topics such as theater, music, and philosophy. Although both the stage and the media would welcome him with open arms, he wouldn’t trade our wonderful students and colleagues for any other career!
