Form of Study

Full-time school-based education (classes held every workday).

Target Group

Young people who need additional support in choosing a profession or preparing to continue their studies. There are no educational requirements; even those without a primary education who are 17 years old or older can enroll. The vocational choice curriculum welcomes, among others, young people who have dropped out of studies, those who are not working, students who need enhanced support due to persistent learning difficulties or emotional and/or behavioral challenges, immigrants, and/or young people with insufficient proficiency in the Estonian language.

Core Studies

Core subjects include learning skills, designing one’s own learning path, career planning, digital competencies, healthy lifestyles with physical activity, Estonian language, fundamental legal knowledge necessary for successful everyday functioning, safety education, etiquette and communication, and mathematics.

Elective Studies

The elective study plan is tailored to the individual needs and interests of the student. Electives may include in-depth Estonian language studies (at A1 and A2 levels) and career-specific electives chosen by the student (such as tourism services, catering services, cleaning services, woodworking, metalworking, digital skills, economics, etc.). Students will have opportunities to meet with career advisors from the employment office. Practical training is completed in companies or school workshops and kitchens.
