Construction Technology (Level 4 Applied Secondary Education)
Construction Technology is a program for those who, building on their basic education, want to acquire both a solid secondary education and broad-based, practical construction skills. Here, you won’t just learn one specific aspect of the trade; instead, you’ll start by building a solid foundation in all aspects of construction and then choose the path that excites you the most.
Duration of study: 4 years of full-time, school-based instruction combined with high school courses.
What exactly do you study and do?
Fundamentals of Construction and Digital Skills: You’ll learn the basics of general construction work, surveying, and reading blueprints.
Modern Technology: You will learn how to use CAD software for drafting, perform 3D scanning, interpret BIM models, and experiment with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in construction processes.
Internship: A significant portion of the program consists of an extensive company internship (30 ECTS), where you can put your knowledge to the test by working as part of a team on actual construction sites.
