Painter (Level 4 vocational training)

Course Load: A compact and substantive curriculum totaling 60 EKAP (lasting approximately 1 year).
What exactly do you study and do?
- Surface Preparation: Before you pick up a brush or roller, you’ll learn how to prime, fill, reinforce (reinforce with mesh), and sand surfaces—because a perfect finish starts with flawless preparation.
- Painting Techniques: You will learn how to properly paint both interior and exterior surfaces, accurately calculate material usage, and take various environmental and weather conditions into account.
- Varnishing and Oiling: You will learn how to properly enhance and protect wooden surfaces using modern varnishes, oils, and other finishing products.
- Wallpapering (roll materials): You will learn how to properly install paper, vinyl, textile, and fiberglass wallpaper on walls, as well as how to interpret the special markings on roll materials.
- Special Effects and Decorative Painting: As an elective, you can develop your creativity by learning how to apply textured, glazed, and effect paints to surfaces, as well as stencil painting.
- Real-world work experience: You’ll reinforce the skills you’ve learned in school through an extensive and exciting internship at a construction or property management company.
Course Options
The program is focused solely on mastering the advanced techniques of painting, but you’ll have the opportunity to put your skills and creativity to the test in a variety of creative electives that focus on surface decoration and special effects.
