Business Administration Specialist (Level 5 Vocational Education)
A business administration specialist is the driving force behind a company—someone who understands how things really work, from product development and marketing to accounting and team management. This program will give you the broad-based knowledge and skills you need to manage the day-to-day operations of a small business, solve problems creatively, and participate successfully in teamwork.
Duration of Study: A comprehensive and diverse curriculum totaling 120 ECTS credits (lasting an average of 2 years).
What exactly do you study and do?
- Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service: You will learn to create marketing plans, carry out sales processes, develop new products, and communicate with customers (including resolving complaints and gathering feedback).
- Organizing Production and Purchasing: You’ll learn how to plan the resources needed for production, organize logistics, select suppliers, and monitor inventory levels.
- Team Management: You will learn how to set goals, plan activities, motivate employees, and foster a positive organizational culture.
- Accounting and Finance: You will be able to prepare source documents for accounting, budgets, and financial plans, and calculate the cost of goods and selling prices.
- Digital Skills and Administrative Tasks: You use various computer programs, cloud services, and online platforms with ease in your work.
- Real-world work experience: An integral part of the program is an extensive internship (30 ECTS credits) at a major company, where you will apply all the knowledge you have gained in school in a real-world work environment.
Course Options
This broad-based program does not offer separate areas of specialization. However, you can choose 18 ECTS credits worth of exciting elective courses that align with your personal interests: for example, the basics of project work, innovation and creativity, employment contract law in practice, the legal foundations of consumer protection, or professional English and Russian.
